Strategies in Light Europe 2011 successfully held in Milan, Italy on October 4th
Strategies in Light Europe was first held in Frankfurt, Germany last year, and this year it was moved to Milan, Italy. A keynote conference held at the opening session on October 4th attracted more than 300 attendees, and the event continued until October 6th. This year's event featured a series of thematic seminars, including thermal management seminars, photometric measurement seminars, and an SSL investment forum organized by Berenberg Bank. The Strategies in Light Europe conference is a seminar on LED lighting and the lighting market organized globally by Strategies in Light.

At the seminar, Dominik Wee and Arthur Jaunich from McKinsey & Company introduced the positive prospects of future LED lighting in the global lighting market. Simon Fisher, General Manager of GE Lighting EMEA Indoor Lighting in the UK, discussed issues regarding LED lighting design. Finally, Vrinda Bhandarkar, head of the authoritative market research group at PennWell in the United States, presented a review of the LED lighting market, including preliminary market forecasts up to 2015.
According to the organizers of the European Lighting Technology Strategy Conference and Christine Shaw, Senior Vice President of PennWell, this year's conference was very successful, with over 850 registered visitors and the exhibition space completely sold out—an increase of 50% compared to the inaugural conference last year. Next year's conference will be held from September 18 to 20, 2012 in Munich, Germany, and we look forward to an even more successful next year. It is reported that on the second day of the conference, attendance exceeded 900 visitors, coming from 51 countries and regions worldwide.
