The 2nd Jilin Province Lighting Science and Technology Awards Ceremony Held in Changchun

On April 29, hosted by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, co-organized by the Provincial Illuminating Society, the Provincial Municipal Engineering Association, the Changchun Street Lamp Office, and the FAW Group Association for Science and Technology, the "2nd Jilin Province Lighting Science and Technology Awards Ceremony and Northern City Green Lighting Academic Forum" was held in Changchun. Street lamp offices of cities, counties and districts across the province, scientific research, teaching, production and business units in the lighting industry within the province, leaders of urban construction bureaus and public utility bureaus of cities, counties and districts in charge of urban lighting and nightscape illumination, members of the Provincial Illuminating Society and the Provincial Urban Lighting Association, representatives of renowned lighting manufacturers outside the province, nearly 300 people attended the meeting. Yin Jun, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and relevant leaders from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Construction, the Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, and the Changchun Street Lamp Office attended the opening ceremony of the forum.

Leader's Speech

The conference presented trophies, medals and certificates to units and individuals who won the 2nd Lighting Science and Technology Awards, including Changchun Luguang Lighting Engineering Installation Co., Ltd., Changchun Weishi Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., and Jilin Oilfield Survey and Design Institute. At the Northern City Green Lighting Academic Forum, there were academic reports by renowned domestic scholars, expert interpretations of documents from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission, as well as presentations on new lighting concepts and successful cases from renowned enterprises within and outside the province, which were well received and praised by the attendees.

　　By organizing the Jilin Province Lighting Science and Technology Award evaluation and the Northern Cities Green Lighting Academic Seminar, it will play a positive role in mobilizing the enthusiasm of lighting and illumination science and technology workers throughout the province, enhancing the modernization and personalization capabilities of urban lighting planning and design in our province, raising the application level of new lighting products and technologies, promoting the progress of lighting science and technology in our province, and accelerating the healthy development of urban lighting in our province along the concepts of energy conservation, environmental protection, and green development.
