Relying on Core Technology to Win Key Projects, Zhongshan "Hongbaoye Electric" Wins the Market with Quality

　　Hongbao Electric is one of the earlier domestic manufacturers to adopt LED chip integrated high-power light sources for developing functional lighting products—street lights. The system luminous efficacy and stability continue to improve. Through continuous R&D, it has gradually developed its own core technology and has become one of the first batch of LED street light benchmark index shortlisted enterprises in Guangdong Province.

　　Over the past few years, relying on core technology, it has won bids for a number of key road lighting and regional lighting renovation projects, creating multiple large-scale functional lighting application cases with LED chip integrated high-power light sources. For example, the Haixinsha lighting project for the opening ceremony venue of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games won over 500 sets in one go among more than 100 bidding companies with its unique design and excellent performance; the comprehensive street light renovation project of Triangle Town, Zhongshan City, completed in October 2010, used more than a thousand sets of various Hongbao LED complete luminaires; the 42-kilometer road lighting project in Tianjin, also completed in October 2010, installed more than 3,000 Hongbao LED street lights; as well as the Xishuangbanna lighting renovation project under construction, etc. The longest used ones have been in service for over four years, with stable photoelectric parameters, and have received praise from users.

　　Hongbao Electric has developed its unique technical advantages in light distribution technology. LED street light optical lenses from Hongbao Electric offer high light output efficiency and strong aging resistance at the same wattage. As the company has expanded in scale and orders have increased, the company's quality control system has been continuously improved and enhanced, with extreme emphasis placed on quality issues. Not long ago, Guangdong Province announced the results of product spot checks, and one Hongbao product had several parameters that did not meet the standards. The company organized technical personnel to respond quickly and provided timely explanations to customers. According to the report, during the spot check in October 2010, in order to save time and cooperate with the inspection work, Hongbao employees took products from the production line that had not undergone full inspection. During the subsequent routine full inspection of products, the company found problems with individual products in this batch and immediately conducted a full-line inspection. At the same time, technical analysis meetings were convened to find the causes, and structural and process improvement measures were formulated. The relevant parameters of the power driver were re-screened and tested, solving the existing problems. In the subsequent re-inspections in November and December 2010, all passed (Test Report Numbers: G10-WT0942, ZW1000939).

　　General Manager Du Jifang stated: Quality is the lifeblood of an enterprise. Hongbao Electric strictly controls quality and does not allow any non-conforming products to leave the factory. This is Hongbao Electric's commitment to its customers. The development of LED lighting technology is changing rapidly. Hongbao Electric will continue to develop more technologically advanced functional lighting products. To ensure the reliability and stability of product quality, Hongbao Electric will regularly send products to the Guangdong Quality Supervision and Inspection Station for Photometric Products and the National Lighting Fixture Quality Inspection Center for baseline testing, to ensure quality monitoring of products, and will publish the test results on the company's website, welcoming supervision from customers.

　　Yu Jiwen, Secretary-General of the Zhongshan LED Industry Association, told reporters: Testing methods should be unified and the consistency of testing equipment should be improved. Due to different testing methods, sometimes the same batch of lamps may meet standards in Dongguan but may fail in Foshan. This issue should be resolved as soon as possible by the technical supervision department.
