[Design] Infinite Design — Introducing Several Interesting Lamps

　　From designer Guangbo Wang (phonetic) comes the Condenser Flashlight, which uses a simple yet clever method to achieve free adjustment of flashlight beam size:

　　Simply put, the entire grip of this device is made of elastic material. We can pinch it with our hand to make it thinner or let it spring back to its thickest state — and this change is directly linked to the position of the bulb inside the lamp head, causing the bulb to move back and forth. So, when we pinch the grip, the bulb will rise forward, making the beam focus more perfectly and shine farther; while when we release our hand, the bulb will return to its original position, allowing the beam to spread as much as possible and illuminate a wider area~

　　From Georgian designer Nicholas Baker comes the Prism Nightlight, a seesaw-style night light with a built-in power source, so there are no cumbersome wires anywhere on the device. On both sides of the translucent lampshade is dark-colored wood — the entire lamp can move like a seesaw: press one end to turn it on, press the other end to turn it off.

Below is another lamp by this designer: the Obelisk Lamp. Using Rhino CAD and a laser cutter, a model was created and assembled into pieces to form a template. An acrylic panel was added to diffuse the light, resulting in a modern floor lamp with an exposed wood structure.
