Forces from all sides, including government, enterprises, and consumers, are driving the large-scale application of LED products.

On April 20, the "China Green Lighting Industry Economic Development Model Seminar and the Inaugural Symposium of 'China High-Tech Industry Herald - Green Lighting Weekly'", hosted by China High-Tech Industry Herald and organized by Hezhong Tianxia International Cultural Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., was held at the Beijing Science and Technology Hall. Experts from the Environment and Resources Protection Committee of the National People's Congress, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the China Association for Quality Inspection, the China Semiconductor Industry Association, the China Association of Lighting Industry, the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Solid-State Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, as well as experts from HSBC, the Agricultural Bank of China, and enterprises, together with leaders of the China High-Tech Industry Herald, attended this meeting.

Experts and enterprises attending the meeting discussed topics related to the "China Green Lighting Industry Transfer Route". At the same time, "China High-Tech Industry Herald - Green Lighting Weekly" appointed 30 industry experts, including Zhai Yong, Li Baoguo, Xu Jinshou, Mou Guangfeng, Yan Shenghu, Zhao Ying, Zhang Ren, and Lü Xuliang, as senior advisors.

In his address, Wei Gu, President of the China High-Tech Industry Herald, said that the China High-Tech Industry Herald, as a comprehensive industrial and economic media outlet directly serving China's high-tech industry, has joined forces with Hezhong Tianxia International Cultural Media to co-host this China Green Lighting Industry Economic Model Seminar.

He said that, as a new platform for innovating media development models and expanding industry influence, the China High-Tech Industry Herald · Green Lighting Weekly is about to be launched. The weekly will be rooted in the green lighting field, with professionalism and practicality as its goal, and will focus on industry news, market dynamics, professional information and in-depth reporting. It will comprehensively, objectively and thoroughly cover news events in the green lighting field, focusing on hotspots and key points, approaching from key market and industry events to reveal survival patterns and analyze industry highlights, striving to help industry technological innovation and promote healthy industry development through practicality, reference value, guidance and close engagement.

When discussing the "China Green Lighting Industry Transfer Route," Li Baoguo, President of the China Quality Inspection Association, said that LED is currently developing very rapidly, and that relevant departments need to work together to promote it and create a harmonious market development environment for the green lighting industry. The country is now focusing on energy conservation; new buildings should be the first to apply it, and industrial departments should use policy instruments to promote it.

Zhai Yong, Deputy Director of the Research Office of the Environmental and Resources Protection Committee of the National People's Congress, said that to truly enable green lighting to develop on a large scale, the national legal system must first be improved. The national legal system cannot be built solely by the legislative and administrative organs; it must be supported by social public opinion. In recent years, the motions and suggestions submitted by NPC deputies during the sessions have played a very important role, but many of these motions and suggestions rely on support from various sectors of society. The green lighting industry should view this issue from a strategic perspective, in multiple aspects and from multiple angles, and should not limit itself to technical discussions or market applications. To fundamentally solve the problem, the role of state coercive power must be brought into play, so as to exert a greater effect.

Wang Xiangming, Editor-in-Chief of the China High-Tech Industry Herald · Green Lighting Weekly, said that, since the green lighting industry is one of the emerging strategic industries that integrate the multiple sectors mentioned above, and since the weekly is positioned to serve business decision-makers and industry policy makers in the green lighting industry, supplemented by brand promotion and marketing strategies related to the construction of enterprise market operation network terminals, the publication will, in line with this positioning, report on the development status of the entire industrial chain of the green lighting industry in an all-round, multi-angle and multi-level manner.

The China High-Tech Industry Herald · Green Lighting Weekly is scheduled to launch on April 25.
