LED displays, LED TVs, and LED lighting equipment are gaining increasing recognition worldwide for their energy-saving and environmentally friendly features, and major domestic LED manufacturers are doing everything they can to participate. Recently, the series of products from Kingsun Optoelectronics, a leading LED company in China, passed the CB (Certification Body) certification under the IECEE system. This means domestic LED optoelectronic lighting products have suddenly opened the door to markets in over 50 countries.

It is reported that the Kingsun Optoelectronics LED laboratory passed the witness laboratory audit of Nemko, a global independent electromechanical product testing and certification organization, becoming the first company in the domestic optoelectronics industry to obtain Nemko laboratory accreditation. Industry professionals said this indicates that the construction of domestic LED laboratories has reached international standards.

More importantly, by obtaining Nemko certification, Kingsun has immediately gained a passport for its LED products to enter more than 50 countries worldwide. Chen Yuanbin, General Manager of Nemko's South China office, said: "This time, the LED series products of Kingsun Optoelectronics have obtained test reports mutually recognized by over 50 member countries of the IECEE system and CB certificates issued by Nemko. In the future, its LED lighting products entering the markets of IECEE member countries will be directly mutually recognized within the member countries, without the need to repeat testing in each market."

In fact, CB certificates and test reports are also widely recognized between non-member countries, and have become one of the most important documents proving the quality and safety of electrical products in B2B trade between enterprises.

Industry insiders emphasized that after Kingsun Optoelectronics' LED lighting products have passed CB product certification, when applying for mandatory certification marks of third-party countries in the future, they can directly conduct certificate conversion on the basis of the original CB certificate. This will greatly improve certificate conversion efficiency, save more certificate conversion time and testing costs for enterprises, and eliminate the need to repeatedly send samples to various countries for testing, thus improving the global competitiveness of domestic LED products.

According to reports, for the Kingsun Optoelectronics LED laboratory to obtain authorization and recognition from relevant institutions, it must pass a comprehensive review and evaluation by senior experts on the laboratory's instruments and equipment, testing standards, and the capabilities of testing engineers. After obtaining recognition, the certification body will issue a Witness Authorized Laboratory Qualification Certificate to the laboratory. After the laboratory obtains the qualification certificate, in subsequent product testing there is no longer any need to send samples to the certification body; it is only necessary for the certification body to send engineers to provide on-site guidance to the laboratory. This not only saves more time and costs for the enterprise but also enables the testing engineers of both parties to conduct face-to-face technical exchanges.

In addition, besides passing the CB certification by Nemko, Kingsun Optoelectronics' LED products have also obtained the CE report that all electronic and electrical products entering the EU market are required to hold. It has become the first company in the domestic LED industry to obtain the CE mark, laying the foundation for its products to gain recognition in the European market.

The so-called CE mark is based on the manufacturer's self-declaration that the product complies with the relevant European directives. For some highly hazardous electronic and electrical equipment, an assessment certificate issued by a notified body is required as the basis for the manufacturer's self-declaration of conformity and for affixing the CE mark. According to testing, Kingsun Optoelectronics' LED lighting products have met and passed all the requirements of CE certification.

Industry insiders believe that Kingsun Optoelectronics' consecutive acquisition of both CB and CE international product quality certifications will set a demonstration effect in the industry, encouraging more domestic LED enterprises to participate in standardizing industry norms and further promoting the rapid development of the LED industry.
