CALI Chairman He Ye Investigates Lighting Industry Development in Zhejiang
From March 1-3, He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), conducted research on the development of the lighting industry in Zhejiang Province. She visited representative enterprises in product manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, intelligent technology platforms, and facility agriculture, as well as local industry organizations. She conducted in-depth research on industry development, particularly on the hot topics, pain points, and bottlenecks in current development, as well as progress in technological innovation and standardization. She had extensive exchanges with all parties on industry development trends and listened to their opinions on topics such as the Association's work plan, fully leveraging the functions and roles of industry organizations, and deeply serving industry development. Secretary-General Wang Zhuo also participated in the research.
Chairman Chen Wei accompanies the research group in visiting Sunshine
The research group visited Zhejiang Sunshine Lighting Electric Group Co., Ltd., a Vice Chairman unit of the Association, and held discussions with company management including Chairman and General Manager Chen Wei, Deputy General Manager Zhao Weifeng, China Region General Manager Li Bingjun, and Deputy Director of Administration Zheng Dong on positive measures involving the development of domestic and international dual circulation, such as current trends in the export market and key directions for building the domestic sales market. They also visited the company's workshops to understand production and operations. Chairman He Ye expressed appreciation for Sunshine Lighting's more than 50 years of development and the achievements it has made. She pointed out that current competition tests core competitiveness, brand effect, and comprehensive strength. Diversified market demands such as new infrastructure, rural revitalization, and a better life stimulate and drive industry development. The core competitiveness of China's lighting industry is unshakable, and we must have firm confidence in the industry's long-term development.
Chairman He Ye held talks with Ni Qiang, Chairman of Dunben Lighting
The research group met with Ni Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Association and Chairman of Hengdian Group Dunben Lighting Co., Ltd. The two sides exchanged views on the difficulties, challenges and opportunities facing the lighting industry amid multiple uncertainties in the current internal and external environment, and conducted in-depth discussions on how to activate new drivers of industry development under the new development pattern. Chairman He Ye affirmed the achievements Dunben Lighting has made over the years in product manufacturing, quality control and market expansion. She stated that Dunben Lighting has always adhered to its own positioning and actively adjusted its development strategy, with clear development goals and a strong sense of industry responsibility, demonstrating the steady style and leading exemplary role of an industry-leading enterprise. She believes that Dunben Lighting will stay true to its original aspiration in the new round of industry competition and continue to lead the industry's development with a pragmatic and hard-working attitude and a spirit of bold exploration.
Research group visits Hongyan Electric
During their field research in Lin'an, the research group visited Vice Chairman units Hangzhou Hongyan Lighting Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Yu Zhong Gaohong Lighting Co., Ltd. Chairman He Ye noted that Hongyan Electric has actively leveraged its own scientific research strength and technical capabilities, seized the opportunity of integrated development between smart lighting and smart home, and implemented the initiative of 'using smart panels as the entry, platform and terminal for the smart home', achieving positive results. She hopes that Hongyan Electric will leverage its own advantages, be driven by digital technology and, building on its strengths in building electrical appliances and smart lighting, further expand into the field of whole-house intelligence.
Research group visits Yu Zhong Gaohong
Chairman He Ye affirmed the contributions Yuzhong Gaohong has made over the years in the field of energy saving and emission reduction within the lighting industry. She hopes that Yuzhong Gaohong will seize the opportunities presented by the high-quality development of the home furnishing industry, achieve a smooth transformation and upgrading, further increase investment in technological innovation, and consolidate its leading position in the industry.
Research Group Visits Yuanfang Information
During the stay in Hangzhou, the research group also visited several council and standing council member units of the Association. Chairman He Ye visited Hangzhou Yuanfang Optoelectronic Information Co., Ltd., a standing council member unit of the Association, to learn about the development of testing technology and equipment as well as the work of standardization. She highly commended the efforts and positive achievements made by Yuanfang in promoting the substitution of domestic equipment in the field of lighting testing, and fully affirmed the achievements obtained by the SC3 Secretariat under the leadership of Chairman Pan Jiangen in the work of standardization. She stated that Yuanfang has gained a core competitive advantage through technological innovation, creating value for the industry while also securing its own competitive edge, thus realizing a virtuous cycle of development. She hopes that the company will continue to deepen its engagement in the lighting field in the future, carry forward its characteristics of being specialized, refined, differentiated and innovative, and jointly explore with the Association the technical needs that empower the high-quality development of the industry.
Research Group Visits Tuya Smart
The research group held in-depth discussions with the technology and sales teams of Tuya Smart on issues such as how to develop smart lighting guided by consumer demand and explore the deeper value of lighting. Chairman He Ye expressed her affirmation of the achievements Tuya Smart has made in actively building a global service platform and helping lighting enterprises enhance their business value through interconnection and interoperability. She hopes that Tuya Smart will continue to expand its technological advantages to provide broader support for improving user satisfaction, helping enterprises develop, and promoting the digital transformation of the industry.
At Inventronics (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., a member of the Association's Board of Directors, the research team discussed topics including the development trends of the lighting industry and competitiveness in the LED lighting driver field with Inventronics Chairman Hua Guichao and the company's management team. Chairman He Ye affirmed the achievements Inventronics has made over the years. She stated that, through this visit, study and exchange, she had gained a deeper understanding of Inventronics' technological advantages, R&D capabilities, and global layout, and hoped that Inventronics could strengthen cooperation with the Association, leverage its own professional technical advantages and scale effects, and further enhance the core competitiveness of China's lighting industry in the driver field. The research team also visited Siwei Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. to learn about key technologies and practices in facility agriculture.

During the research visit in Zhejiang Province, Chairman He Ye exchanged views with Ling Yingming, Chairman of the Zhejiang Lighting Electrical Appliance Association. She noted that over the years, the Zhejiang Association has carried out a great deal of pragmatic and effective work for the development of enterprises, achieving concrete results. She pointed out that Zhejiang Province is an important component of China's lighting industry, gathering a large number of leading enterprises in the industry and many high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises with great innovation and development potential. Lighting enterprises in Zhejiang Province have played a positive leading role in the development of China's lighting industry in many aspects, including technological progress, enterprise management, and quality improvement. It is hoped that in the future, they will continue to leverage the inherited advantages of a strong lighting industry province, fully unleash the innovative vitality of emerging forces, further carry out the cultivation of specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative enterprises, and lead and promote the efficient, high-quality and high-level development of China's lighting industry.
