China Lighting Association calls on the lighting appliance industry to support flood control and disaster relief in Henan

Recently, Henan Province experienced once-in-a-millennium heavy rainfall, causing severe urban waterlogging in multiple areas including Zhengzhou and Xinxiang. Some railway services were suspended and flights canceled, resulting in significant casualties and property damage. The flood control situation is extremely severe. Tasks such as emergency rescue, post-disaster reconstruction, resumption of production, and epidemic prevention are arduous.

The CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to this matter. General Secretary Xi Jinping has issued important instructions on flood control and disaster relief, requiring all regions and relevant departments to restore production and daily life order as soon as possible while carrying out flood control and disaster relief work. They must solidly implement assistance and relief for affected people and carry out hygiene and epidemic prevention work to prevent poverty relapse due to disasters and major epidemics following major disasters.

To implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on flood control and disaster relief work in Henan, and to support Henan's flood control and disaster relief efforts with practical actions, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) calls on the entire industry to take active action, do their best, carry forward the fine Chinese tradition of "support from all sides when one place is in trouble," generously donate to the people in disaster-stricken areas, raise disaster relief supplies, contribute love and extend a helping hand for Henan's flood control, disaster relief, and post-disaster reconstruction. At the same time, actively pay attention to the disaster situation of employees' families from Henan Province within the enterprise, assist in solving practical living difficulties, and make a "bright" contribution to helping affected masses restore normal production and life and rebuild their homes.

Storms are ruthless, but people have heart. The lighting appliance industry joins hands to help Henan overcome the difficulties. Go Henan!
