Source: China Light Views: 2

Located on the first floor of the world’s third Red Dot Design Museum, the “Path to Success” exhibition covers nearly 2,000 square meters and showcases over 600 Red Dot award-winning works from more than 400 global brands, including Ferrari, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, Hilti, Lenovo, Apple, Sony, Montblanc, Philips(照明业务:Signify 昕诺飞), LEGO, etc. This is the first time in China that Red Dot Design Award winners have been displayed on such a large scale, and also the first exhibition to bring together winners from all three Red Dot Award categories.

Manjia Mei® has collaborated many times with art galleries and museums both domestically and internationally, using lighting to create an “illusion” that seems to immerse the audience in the historical process of the exhibits’ development.

This time, the Red Dot Design Museum also chose Manjia Mei®’s LED environmental protection lighting solution. Manjia Mei® integrated the lighting using various techniques. Multiple product series were used in different areas of the museum (track-mounted reflector lights, recessed reflector lights, small spotlights, suspended downlights, T5, grille lights, panel lights, indoor floodlights, light strips…), each independent yet mutually complementary. Accent lighting highlights the exhibits, while wide-angle and angle-free lights serve as ambient lighting, illuminating the museum areas while also providing a transitional lighting effect.

The exhibition hall is divided into five zones: Design Overview, Design as Business Strategy, Product Development and Design, Product Communication and Design, and Enterprise Management and Design. Starting with "What is Design," it guides visitors step by step through product design, product quality and design, and enterprise management and design. Meanwhile, under the lighting, classic cases of design as a business strategy help visitors intuitively understand how enterprises achieve the "path to success" through design.
