The Zhoushi Cultural and Sports Center is located in Zhoushi Town, in the northern area of Kunshan City. It is a comprehensive cultural and sports center integrating functions such as a cultural center, basketball hall, swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, cultural and art exhibition center, and a leisure commercial street.

The architects proposed the idea of designing a massive structure, covering various functional spaces with a huge dynamic roof. The architects used methods such as folding, undulating, and trimming to meet the different height requirements of spaces like the basketball hall, swimming pool, cultural center, and multi-purpose hall. At the same time, people perceive this building as if viewing a sculpture, creating a strong visual impact.

Each hall is relatively independent and easy to operate. The architects took into account the different themes or spatial scales between each hall, enabling the cultural and sports center to continue providing social space for citizens even when closed in the early morning, evening, and night. This further highlights the openness and citizen participation of the cultural and sports center.

The architectural colors of Jiangnan are mostly black, white, gray, and wood tones, which are echoed in this building. The building's surface uses modern materials, such as gray aluminum-magnesium-manganese roofing, exposed stone curtain walls, translucent screen-printed glass curtain walls, and wood-toned aluminum alloy ceilings. All of these naturally express respect for traditional architecture and the surrounding environment.

The Zhoushi Cultural and Sports Center has reshaped urban space and sparked new urban vitality. It is a vessel that carries and disseminates the culture of Zhoushi, inheriting tradition while also embodying distinct characteristics of the times.
