Stunning lighting at the 2016 CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala

The 2016 CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala was broadcast live to domestic and international audiences from Xi'an on September 15 at 20:00. This year's gala featured a water stage for the first time, set on the artificial landscape lake in Tang Paradise Garden, creating a romantic atmosphere that transcends millennia and connects past and present, allowing the audience to truly experience the rich ambiance of Tang culture.

This year's CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala continues the grand, aesthetic, romantic, and refined tone of previous years. The entire gala is themed around "Return," consisting of five parts: the prologue "Opening the City to Welcome Guests," Part I "Moonlight over Chang'an," Part II "Splendor of the Silk Road," Part III "Blooming Flowers and Full Moon," and the epilogue "Moon over the Sea."
