　　When did going to a shopping centre last make you feel special? Well, that’s the intention of the generously accented Ue centre in Belgrade, where the interior design by Chapman Taylor is supposed to make a visit more than a merely commercial activity. Behind the bright red fa?ade is a clear, peaceful interior - a contrast reflected in the lighting, designed by Voltaire Light Design of Milan and local electrical engineer BDSP. During the day, the galleries are spanned by wide, daylit areas. In the evening, a combination of Zumtobel Xeno spotlights and Miros projector-mirrors create soft light. Supplementary downlights in the ceilings emphasise specific areas and guide visitors along the rows of shops.
